A mechanism to automate the general stores and pharmacies.
A store owner enters the items needed on the webapp and the gantry mechanism retrieves it from the racks.
The communication protocol used is MQTT and a third party cloud service called Hive MQ to perform communication.
I’m looking for people who can give me insights and guide me and help me on this journey as I already have a team at my Institute.
Below is an imaginary image of that

This is a great idea
Is there anything in particular you need help with, @mubashir061?
Thanks
I’m actually a beginner
Our team has built the hardware part and i built the web app
The problem is the communication, that how the data should be sent and how the microcontroller will break it down to get the items
So this is where we are struggling
@gy4nt and @lmtx may be able to advise on the MQTT topic structures and communications, especially if you can provide some more specifics. How many nodes? What’s being published? etc.
PS, what’s the micro?
@mubashir061 I am happy to help you.
Alright thanks β€
Micro refers to anything like node mcu, esp32 and Arduino uno/mega etc controller boards
Hey LMtx, can you help me understand how to develop mqtt communication between a webapp (using js) and Arduino or node mcu controller
I have used 3rd party cloud services like HiveMq to perform communication and storage
But I want to understand the concept and build my own
I’ve sent you a private message.
