Troubleshooting ADC Signal Clipping

If only I had hooked up my scope to the ADC line, I would have observed the challenge I am having, which is signal clipping. My wave is expected to be a sine wave but it isn’t, it is clipped, I have to now figure out why it is clipped what is causing it and how to resolve it
