Trouble Interfacing Load Cell SEN-10245 with Arduino

Anyone has ever worked on load cell SEN-10245 half bridge
I want to interface it with arduino uno
I have connected 2 resistors to make full bridge as told in this YouTube video

But still, my load cell doesn’t seem to work
It fluctuates a lot… I want to measure water from a water bottle.

Oh sorry I mistakenly mention esp32
    It was with arduino uno

  2. beastcracker9217#0000

Some said its due to carbon resistors they don’t really help making a good full bridge

  3. beastcracker9217#0000

I can make a video of the hardware and run the calibration code to show you the serial monitor

  4. jeremycook#0000

Well don’t feel like you have to. Not sure about the carbon resistors, not sure what else you would use that would be better.
Who knows though, if you’re (as in the guy who made the video) making a video you have some motivation to get it to work. Maybe things in the video weren’t quite as advertised and/or he forgot to include something?

  5. beastcracker9217#0000

Yeah I have to make it work
    Let’s see

  6. jeremycook#0000

I haven’t watched the video, but one would think the results for an Arduino Uno would *generally* work for an ESP32. However, the UNO being a 5V device may mean you need to make some adjustments. If I was troubleshooting I might try it with an Arduino UNO board to verify the load cell part of the hardware is working correctly.

I’ll test again to see if there’s somthing missing
