Selling GSM Modules for IoT Devices

Hello everyone, i don’t know if it is the right place to write this message but im desperate. I want to sell GSM Modules dedicated to IoT mashines: SARA-G350 u-blox and ELS61-US. Both of them have date code 21+ and are no longer in production. Do You have any idea what manufacturers will be interested in purchasing them? I will be very thankful for any answer. Thanks.

Hi, we have 4000 pieces for ELS61-US and 3250 for SARA-G350. I tried to connect with manufacturers by fulfilling form or by sending e-mails with informations about product from their websites. 0 responds. I have sent over 200 messages and nothing.

Seems like that would be a tough sell considering traceability requirements etc. Maybe there is a refurbished/new-old-stock vendor that would take them, or there’s always eBay.

How many do you have? If it’s a relatively small quantity you could try eBay, Tindie, etc (or I guess it doesn’t have to be a small quantity). However, if I was a manufacturer I would be leery of using such parts, especially on a new design.

That being said, when I worked in manufacturing there were companies (well I assume companies plural, I dealt with one) that sold no-longer-made items that were refurbished from elsewhere. Worked out well for us, because sometimes we needed obsolete parts for equipment. Perhaps there is some equivalent for this type of device that you could talk to.
