not sure witch channel i would post this , I’m working on implementing indoor localization and path planning for a four-wheeled robot running on a Raspberry Pi 3. i saw they use sensor techniques like LiDAR but it’s quite expensive for my case.
Does anyone try doing that before maybe could give me some guidance
There are cheap lidar also
If we ignore Sick velodyne LiDAR, other are quite cheap
I would suggest to look for slamtec LiDAR or there is sub group called micro LIDAR
tried a basic implementation of Filter SLAM
I found some are around 50$
To 70$ 🙄
Also did you try to apply SLAM algorithm on it ?
yep
the specific filter i used for Kalman
didnt have time/bren for ekf
Is that the average or i can find cheaper!
for normal yes
try micro lidar
there should 25$ ones also
i forgot the company
TF Mini is the company name
that’s the one i had
Okay i will search deeper
