I’m looking into ThreadX intergration with RP2040 boards.

It looks like Eclipse is not working on threadX at this time.

  1. techielew#0

    Have you tried another IDE?

  2. coffeecup1#0

Hi, I meant the Eclipse Foundation has not updated Thread X (previously Azure RTOS) since acquiring it from Microsoft. Or at least not for about 6 months.

  3. techielew#0

oooooh, i see. is there much activity around it in the open source community?

  4. coffeecup1#0

I don’t see much honestly. I think most have cold feet given the lack of action by the Eclipse Foundation.

  5. techielew#0

That’s really interesting. I figured there would be a lot of activity around it given its heritage, but I haven’t really been tracking it.

  6. coffeecup1#0

Indeed interesting. ThreadX looks highly developed with many features etc. we’ll see…

  7. techielew#0

May be too late. Already a groundswell around Zephyr and FreeRTOS. What do you use

  8. techielew#0

Hey @coffeecup1, how’s it going? It’s been a while. I’d like to check in on your progress on this RP2040/ThreadX system and see if you can lend your expertise to a project we’re developing here in the server.

    Talk soon 🤞
