Engineering Hour: Message Queues & Intertask Communication with FreeRTOS on Arm Cortex-M

October 20 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

So now you understand the CMSIS-RTOS API, the FreeRTOS API; and how to use mutexes and semaphores in FreeRTOS. Now it’s time to put these concepts to use in Message Queues and Intertask Communication.

In this Engineering Hour session led by expert IoT trainer Umesh Lokhande, we’ll dive into using message queues and intertask communication with FreeRTOS on an Arm Cortex-M target. In it, you’ll learn:

* How to use queue buffers
* Send data between two tasks
* Direct to Task Notifications

The session will culminate in an example project that demonstrates the use of xQueueCreate(), xQueueSend(), uxQueueMessageWaiting(), and other functions.

It all starts Sunday, October 20th at 15:00 UTC. Are you ready to take real-time control of your embedded applications?
